Does anyone have any pics they would like to share?

This one was taken in the James river this past Spring. It is probably the best pic I have taken with my 1197.

This one was taken in Lake Chesdin. A5 pounder came out of the ditch.

There is a lot going on in the first pic. To the left is on a flat and that is a whole large boat laying bow to shore on the flat. To the left is the channel ledge with washboard, rock piles, and wood.

I have the 1197 which doesn't have the ethernet port that the 360 hooks in to on the 98 models. It's rather upsetting that I bought mine a year before the 98 models came out for the same price and have an out of date model! I would love to have the 360 imaging! Then again that's another 2 G's LOL

I'm in the same boat (sort of). I have a 1198 that I just got to install on the console and moved my 997 up front. Problem is, as you mentined, if I upgrade to 360 I'll have to buy a new graph. Of course, I could just move the 98 up front, but I'd rather have the 98 near the driver's seat.

Humminbird rocks! Did I mention that?

The clearest image I have seen is this one I happen to notice as I was crossing a creek channel with the trolling motor.
The lines are vehicle tracks made during lake construction.

Your 1197c SI does have the Ethernet port. The operating system just won't handle the 360 accessory and software yet.

I de-tune my units to show fish most of the time since I have gotten over the " look at all that stuff" and occasionally see very large bass. This is one getting lunch:

An example of how an object blocks a sonar pulse and creates a shadow just like it would do with light.

Down Imaging will show algae hanging off timber--this is the same tree as the previous picture with the shadow:

SCUBA diver during a SAR operation. I had the unit set for soft flesh returns so it is not as sharp as the setting for hard objects.

The somewhat upright trees are at Briery Creek Lake and the first image of the creek channel and last image of the stump/log pile are from Hunting Run Res.

I may do some at Anna. I was asked to do some scans of planted brush piles sometime this Fall. There is not much on that lake since it was stripped pretty clean in all the accessable areas before it was filled. Sort of paranoid about the power plant.

nothing to be paranoid of wayne...Just think of it like a big set of boobies, and fish on....LMBO

I'm not paranoid about the lake, Va Power is. They are afraid a stick just might get sucked in and cause a melt-down.

I took this image a couple of years ago. It is the bridge frame that was across Terry's Run before the lake was built.

This is where the submerged part of Rt. 701 (vertical path on left side) crosses the main Briery Creek channel.

You can do the same with your HDS-5 if you add the LSS accessory in version 1 or 2. Your screen size is the same as the last image I posted of Rt 701.

Thanks Wayne. I knew I could add it on but it's all about the $$$'s. I've got a small HB 498 up front and the HDS at the console. At some point I hope to upgrade to either 2 HB's or 2 Lowrances that can communicate.

Maybe someday...

Another Anna snapshot. This is a group of PVC attractors on a plain smooth bottom. That material doesn't reflect sonar pulses very well especially if the parts are less than 4" or so. You can see the shadows of the largest parts of them though and the crappie on it.

Wayne, wanna sell me a couple gps coordinates?

I put the rock pile location on NavionicsPC shared data.

I know who made the fish attractor group, so you will have to find that yourself.
