When does it start up? I will post up the tournament as it happens under the tx forum. Also might want to sponsor it with some new gear for the winner - maybe some nice Curado's or something.

I'd love to fish this series - but being new to the area (3yrs) don't have a partner. Is it unheard of to join the group and let the touranment director know your looking for a 2nd?

I would fish it with you but at Lake Anna, I have to admit, I really suck. And I wouldnt want to disappoint you or worse, have you leave the message board! I always wanted to attempt something like this but I have always fun fished, never did a tourney in my life. If you dont mind fishing with someone that will spend the entire day and not have much to show for it - let me know. I do pay expenses well though!

I noticed on the BFHP that they have recently started a "co-angler needed" page. This mainly applies to draw tournaments and that a gauranteed co-angler puts the boater in the tournament in a lock for that tournament. Maybe we could look at setting up a similar page but for Lake Anna tournaments that use the buddy system. I fish most of these tournaments with my son but on occasion he has to work, be home with wife and daughter, other functions, etc. and he can't make it. It would be nice to know that someone else out there is willing to be the co-angler and fish with me. Just my 2 cents.

Striper - I've only fished in one - last years Sturgeon Creek Open - I'm sure between the two of us we could land a fish or two - at a minimum at least have a good time. Let's see how it plays out.

No problem - I am going to build out a forum for people looking for subs or co-anglers.
