Found time to sit and post this. Sorry so late. Mark and I initially went to Lake Frederick since the river was pretty dirty from the rain earlier in the week. Lake Frederick sucked so we left there and went to Riverton. Was at the ramp and launched by noon. We headed down river toward the dam. The water was dirty and 36 degrees and moving fast. Was a able to cast upriver and drag 1/4 oz. hair jigs along the bottom and I surprisingly managed a couple fish. First brownie was a chunk and the second went almost 4 lbs. We were off the water by 3:00. Here are the pics.

Nice! I fished Egypt Bend on the same day (dec 28th) and I didn't get a bite. Used dropshot mostly. But thats pretty impressive to me to catch them when the water is in the 30s

I fished at Port Republic the 28th without a bite also, nice job. I tried about everything BUT a hair jig...lol.

solid fish in any condition but even more so under those conditions

Thanks guys. Now we just need it to thaw out so we can get back at it.
