I've gotta get these pics from you Brian they turned out nice except for my mug. Guys today was a nice day on the Potomac Brian had several fish in the 4# range and we also had several 3+, and of course multiple 11/2 to 2#s. water temps started about 53and eventually got to 59's thats when they really unleashed the punishment on the rattle traps.
:Yay: /hell/ :Fishing:

Beautiful fish, and thanks for making me think about the river until i can get there on saturday, clearly fishing with less traffic pays off!! that is the third 8lber i know if in the past few weeks, and who knows how many have been caught since then

I don't know about less traffic, that was my thought when I headed out this mourning. I've gone out before in the past and only see 2 maybe 3 boats out. Today was a record must have seen 30+ out there. we had atleast 3 boats near by all day.

Yea, this was only the 2nd year in this area but I do know that in a few more weeks it'll be choked out with grass. I give up the spot but the man who took the photo turned me on to this area and it already gets pounded hard. There were a constant 4 to 5 boats in there all day and not the same ones so I know its not a secret

skeet how did the grass look in there yesterday. I'd assume with the next two weeks of weather predicted the grass should make a strong showing, and spread the fish out some.

It looked as if it was 1 1/2' tall not full yet though, tall clumps then some new short stuff Looks like it'll be coming up quick this year as the temps warm up. I'm not sure if it fully died off over the winter.

Thats good to hear, good healthy grass keeps the bass happy. although it will spread them out some. I'm just ready to throw frogs!!

There's plenty of last years growth + new milfoil emerging; should be a good year for grass.

Yea baby I love the grass, I would like to see it come back like it was 10-12 yrs. ago. Throwing frogs, shad assins and punching through on the low tide.
