I stopped at the park on the way home. I figured i would have it to myself cuz of the cold. I did. I am no trout fisherman but I have always caught a few here and there on my trusty rainbow. This is the 2nd biggest brown I have caught out of the river - the pics doesn't do it justice - it was pushing 14". The grip on my pole is 12 and it was cpl over that. The other is a small smallmouth. I had a big lgm blowup on it. Man what a fish - for some reason he changed his mind at the last second his wake moved my bait about a foot and all i seen was his side and a huge tail. Anyways - river is up pretty good and stained - not muddy just colored.
