Went out wade fishing yesterday for a few hours in the morning - at Maidens off 522 - was slow going at first - seemed to be a fair amount of pressure from anglers with the long weekend. Once the sun came out mid morning the fish started hitting a bit more. We tried a little bit of everything, but again the most consistent lure was a zoom finesse worm in watermelon rigged weightless and weedless twitched as a jerk bait.

Hope everyone had a good holiday weekend.

I just saw this post. I occasionally bank fish during the weekday morning at Watkins Landing when I end my night shift. Since it's right at sunrise, I can usually catch 'em when no one else is there. I seem to have the best luck with shakey heads and trout worms.
