2/3/10 Lake Anna Fishing Report
Hit the lake Wed. with a buddy in search of anything that was hungry. Luanched at sturgeon at 9:30 and headed to my "magic dock" of past reports only too find that these fish had moved on. Never even got a strike! Thats Anna!
From there we headed into dukes where we picked up 2 green fish and one keeper striper. The bass fell to the buddy and the striper a jb.
Spent the rest of the day fishing mainlake stuff south of dukes. We were able to put 5 more bass in the boat and 3 more keeper stripers. Not an exciting day by any means. Never saw any birds working anywhere eventhough we had cloudy and calm conditions.
Water temp at sturgeon was 39 in the morning, 42 in dukes. Buddies and Jerks put all the fish in the boat. Best 5 would have gone 12 1/2 lbs. Hope this winter decides to go away soon!

All good news. Being able to still catch em with all the fronts is good news indeed. The next warming trend has the potential to become a time of complete madness. Lets hope so at least. Good job there Natron!

Good report there Natron, and some nice fish. I seen a couple guy's fishing at the 652 bridge in contrary in a bass boat around 3PM this afternoon and the snow was flying. And had been for a few hours. But don't know if they were catching any fish??
