    Looks to be a good spawning bed bait. Also looks to be like the main body of a super fluke, so I would add a rattle and a nail, to make it fall horizontally level (most newts fall/float horizontally) w/ an owner 5/0 offset hook (for added weight) and let it fall into a bed, just barely shaking it so the rattles make some noise. I would have to see if it would work but I might even put 2 rattles cross ways in the 2 sets of legs; they look meaty enough to do so.

    I like all the different setups I have read so far and believe me I have used them all. My favorite for this time of year where I live in the south is carolina rigging on points for fish that are stagging up before moving into the spawning grounds.     T-rig it with a 1/8 oz bullet weight and a 4/0 EWG hook.
