    Question fishman fish finder

    hi rick and all fishman here the fish finder is a lowrance x51 the shadows i get look like fish in various size, can u help with the adjustment..

    i also have a garmin gpsmap 421 it finds the james river but not lake anna do i need to get a new map or input somthing?? it has a spot for a flash card but the thing only works on the boat not btry < can u help ??

    I have/had the x51. The fish symbols are the fish in the cone angle. you can either use the symbols or the archs. go to menu and you can turn it off or on. Keep in mind that anything not "attached" to the lake/river bottom will show up as fish.

    looks like u no the fsh finder is there a way to adjust it so that i can see the true fish. i just get to see large fat ones or little ones. how wuld i no if i was over a school of stripers or bass or am i in a good location....

    have u been fishing on the lake lately anything hot out there???
