I would say launch out of leesylvania, its the easiest to get to, and the biggest, so you don't have to deal with the summer idiot crowd of jetskiers and pleasure boaters who can't put their boat on the trailer. I know June 7,14,20,21,28 are all tournament dates, 20th is saturday and sundays for the rest. They are lapr, champ. teams and FOM.

June 25-27 will be extremely busy as Stren Series will be out. Iaconelli fished it last year so there will be a crowd coming out from Small Wood.

June 13 is Northeast BFL out of Smallwood which I predict 100 plus boats.

thanks to all for the traffic info. looks like striper just needs to pick a day and see what kind of response is recieved. between the busy days from large tourneys and personel schedules it will be a tight squeeze. i'm in if i can make it!

We should just pick a day, its the potomac, it will be busy everyday of the summer, but you have 50 miles of expansive grassbeds, docks, bridges, creeks, bays etc to fish, you can spread out. just don't try to fish mattowoman

Definitely Leesylvania. They have the most room. I'm with JayT. I think we'll just have to pick the best date we can all live with and go with the crowds. Seems like anymore there is always a tournament of some sort on the Potomac. May want to adjust our start time & weigh-in time so as not interfere with other larger tournaments though.

the gate at leesylvania opens at 5am, sun comes up about 530ish. we should get there between 5-6, topwater bite will be insane then with postspawn females. that time of year there could be ten tournaments on any given day, but if you pick a saturday you will usually avoid lapr and champ. teams events
