Default Installing an LSS-2 on Nitro Z7, no jack plate

Hi fellas. I've searched all over the forum here and at BBC to try and get a good idea of what to do before I start drilling, but I'm still left with a couple of install questions.

I have a Mark5X Pro in the dash, and I found an adapter to use the 5X ducer for 2d images through the HDS 7. I plan to install the HDS in the dash, but I'm still not sure if I should put the ducer directly on the hull (next to the RPS cutout) or use the bracket. Any input from those that already have the setup, I'd really appreciate it.

Another question I have is will the GPS be obstructed at all with an in dash install?

Last question...I plan on using the 2d ducer that came with the HDS up at the bow with the 5X...any issues with that?

    Thanks everyone!

You didn't put much effort on BBC for suggestions for the SS transducer installation:
