Default New Tracker Pro team 175TXW

This is my first boat besides my old Jon boat. So far I'm quite pleased. I just got back from a week on the St Lawrence and it performed beautifully. I plan to launch out of Pohick this summer. I will have many questions for you seasoned boaters on how best to get around the shallow bays and all the hydrilla. See you out there!

very nice ride. my first boat was a Tracker. loved it. you'll especially like its shallow draft - you'll be able to fish places glass boats can't.

I think I saw you at Pohick this past weekend. I have the G3 tin toy with the powerpole (Yammy 115), stop over and say hi if you ever see me there.

ps - the dead giveaway is the black Subaru Outback pulling it.

Hope you're enjoying the boat. I have a 1999 165 Tracker, has held up great overall. I downgraded from the 40hp to a 9.9 as that was where it would be most useful at the time. Things I noticed over the years. The 12 volt system with 42lbs of thrust just doesn't cut it. I upgraded to a 24 volt system with 70lbs of thrust and that's much better. The trailer just doesnt hold up, after 5-7 years a lot of rust started forming and it kind of quickly deteriorated. I ended up getting a new trailer last year but I guess 13 years aint that bad. I have galvanized trailer now..... Good luck with the boat, should be years of fun for ya....Joefroggy
