Not sure if all the Navionics users are aware that you can contribute nautical data and points of interests to all the Navionics charts? The Community Edits layer in Navionics Boating App allows you and millions of other app users to share local information. View nautical data and points of interests in your location, such as seasonal buoys, lights, rocks, moorings, and boat ramps and other structure directly on your Boating app and contribute your own! Check this out:

Hope some find this helpful, I really enjoy exploring with Electronics some days and this is an awesome way to gain knowledge by recording things you find to recall later when needed.

Sonar Chart Live is a really cool Navionics feature allowing you to create new 1 ft/0.5 m personal HD bathymetry maps in real time as your boat moves along the water! It appears as an additional layer over your map while it also gets stored on your device for future use. It allows the user to connect to a sonar/plotter to use SonarChart Live on the app! SonarChart Live is the most efficient way to enhance a SonarChart because your sonar logs can also be shared with Navionics from your mobile device and you can monitor the improvements while navigating. This feature allows you to create an account/Log In to check the processing status of your sonar logs. It is perfect for small reservoirs and lakes that has no details available or even popular fishing destinations when you want greater detail for particular areas.
