Default Crab Creek Boat Ramp- Lynnhaven Inlet

Put in there for a few hours. I saw some guys pull up some really nice redfish. They looked like they knew where to be because they got to their spot and camped out there for at least an hour an half. One guy landed one 28 inches, the other guy landed another good one of 24 inches. I think a third older fellow got one around 20 inches from what they said. They were using Gulp jerk shad- bigger ones.

I caught a couple of nice flounders and a little speckled trout. My buddy caught a lot of little speckled trout and three flounders. We were using Gulp mullet on jig heads.

It's a nice facility at the ramp. I will return and hopefully give myself a better shot at doing well. I drove down to King and Queen County and stayed at a buddy's house. I didn't arrive until after midnight. Woke up at 4 or 4:30, and left a little after five for the beach. Had a splitting headache most of the day. I heard some folks surf fish near there and catch stripers around November or so.

They fish right at the inlet on either side of the bridge, the back being better. Just have to be careful as the current is strong and there is a lot of boat traffic. You will see a lot of people out there at night once the bridge lights are on.
