Default Swift Creek 10/20/14 Personal Best

Got a 7 1/4lber on a red eye shad. Weather was sunny and 60s, wind was southwest around 15-20. Fished from shore for about 20 minutes and got this pig and a big pickerel. Bass was 22"er....... can't wait to get boat out Wednesday....

Way to go, Froggy! Must have been exciting. How were you fishing that red eye? I have a whole box full of them and never seem to catch a thing.

I don't do a completely steady retrieve... I crank it and do a quick stop to let it flutter down for a second, then retrieve for few cranks, let it flutter a second or so, etc... I was in about 5 foot of water....
