I am in if the weather forcast holds as is. Light winds. Morning temp at 40 degrees and a high of 56. Less than a 1/4 inch of rain means a misty type of rain maybe off and on throughout the day. Thats not too bad a forcast.

Funny as the years progress, weather plays more of a role in tournament decisions. I remember before I even joined this forum way back when (relatively speaking) seeing you all doing the polar bear tournaments and almost embracing the treacherous weather. Not bashing anyone, I'm sure in 30 years I will feel the same way, just interesting to see the mindsets change over time.

We used to refer to it as "embracing the suck" in the Army.

Mindsets haven't changed. Cold is fine, Wet is fine, Cold and Wet sux. I fish all winter and will continue, so will most of us. The only water I want in my ice better have bourbon in it.
F'N with us old fugs like this and 30 years aren't a problem for you
    cheers,

When I was a younger man IE; 57 or 58 years old lol, my "mind" won most of the arguments. Lately my body is winning most of the arguments ha-ha. Every now and then my mind slips one past the body and I end up fishing in the rain, on a cold and nasty wind blown day; once my body discovers that its been duped it gets really pissed off lol.

Well, I'm just disappointed in so many of y'all.

I'll be there. I cleaned the garage out of my boat last night and I'm rigged and ready to go...

I'll be sitting in a box blind overlooking a food plot keeping dry. Also have a little propane heater in the blind to keep warm. Will be a comfortable hunt for me. I'll even have a thermos full of coffee with me.

Due to the lack of boats this tournament is hereby cancelled! Sorry for any inconvenience. For those of you who are still planning to show, yall can meet up at the ramp and hold your own rodeo. Thats entirely up to yall.
