FYI, a great tool for fishing:

    Bedding shellcrackers:

    Tree with some bass:

    Creek channel:

Some type of covers to go over holes in a road built to haul dirt for a dam. Bass on the lower one:

Clearer view of one of the holes with covers:

Yep that stuff is cool. I'd probably spend hours just looking and not fishing. But it's not in budget and probably never will be. I. Still working on power poll

This is a combination of 6 tools.
I scanned this area with Side Imaging and saw two trees on the bottom with fish. I saved a GPS waypoint for each of them. I have the unit set to put a Casting Ring with a 30' range around all my waypoints.
I have the Heading Sensor GPS antenna that shows what direction the bow is pointed (position icon).
Then I held the boat in position, watching the 360 to cast exactly where the trees/fish were.
Yep, caught some of them too.
Additionally the map contours are HD, created by uploading sonar logs to the Navionics Sonar Charts program. I specifically recorded this area with multiple passes to get the best detail. The Navionics map only has 8' contours.

Sir, I was told you were the local guru with the 360 sonar in this area. I / we could use a little help fine tuning our gear for a specific application. I am with the Henrico County Fire Dive Team and we have acquired this unit for use in our dive operations. Was wondering if you would be willing to help us out with a little info.
