Default Anyone do any good this past weekend?

I couldn't put together anything this past weekend. From what I could tell the Striper were working the middle of the water column and were scattered. I didn't spend any time shallow / beating the banks though.

I had two guides out on Saturday fishing up the rivers in cold water. They took short hits only boating only a dozen fish between them.

Thanks Jim. If you ever get to it please post some pictures of their rigs they fish out of. I always try to stay out of thier way and even will come off plane and idle by when I know it's a guide trip. I just don't know what kind of boats they fish out of. That being said its a no brainier when I see 6 to 10 rods out tracking in perfect harmony lol.

Other than Kris's 12# and one 19inch for me that was it other than 2 Jumbo Yellow Perch, 2 Bass (yes Bass) and one walleye or sauger, that was it from dawn till dusk. Fish were up sporadically between Jetts and Stubbs, but would not stay up long and were moving fast. Water Temp at Waddy was 41.9 at the surface and 43.5 on the trolling motor (9am). At Lil Fla. it was 38.3 at surface and 42.2 on the TM at noon. No wind at all which I thought would be great, but not sure now. Mixed clouds in the afternoon.

    Heading down Saturday (pending weather)....

Anyone have any ideas on what fishing is like up in the dike 3 region?
Are you guys still marking bait up the river arms, or has it gone deep yet?

I personally won't go to dike 3 unless it freezes below Sturgeon and will only throw Swim baits. I lost 10 blades last year and 10 J1M Lure retrievers..... Yes the bait is so thick it will cause the depth finder to go crazy. However, the bait nor striper bite ever got red hot above 522 or Terry's, at least for me. The bait as of last Saturday was from the S Turns down and from C-run down. There was one good pod on the left side (before 522 bridge) by the community marina, but no striper.

Will be out Saturday until rain really starts, which now looks to be in the afternoon.
