    Default Crow's Nest 17 May

Launched at low tide. Not much water in Accokeek at low tide. Rising water improved things but it was still slow.
Carp are still causing a ruckus everywhere and the water clarity is still like coffee.
Had three follows that ended in a splash and dash before I started slowing down near the boat. (Iím a slow learner)
Caught the one 5 pounder on a white frog. Also had a visit from the game warden (3rd time this year) who found my
license was in order. On the way back to the dock I had a gar jump in the boat; first time that has happened to me.
(got a cool 2 second gopro video of it.)

If the bait is far enough out, I've found that speeding up, really fast, will get those followers to react and eat too.

    Great report.
