    Default Yak Storage

Since my career is in construction, I usually have a 2x4 solution to any problem. I constructed a rod storage section out of 2x4's in my post frame shop, then added a frame to store my kayaks in the vertical position to maximize storage. I have a rope and pulley to help with the 12'er, the others aren't to bad to stand up without it. With the pulley I can lift the back of the yak into my truck, then lower the front, making it fairly easy to load and unload it by myself.

That's pretty cool. My first Tarpon stayed on the floor in the garage until the cat started peeing all in the seat. I keep my second in the storage room on the floor and it takes up a lot of space.

That looks really nice. I won't be posting any pictures of my storage "solutions"

Nice, Andy. And that rod rack isn't too bad either.

Wow! Andy, you just made my boathouse look like a landfill - Martha Stewart would be proud.

Jim, Martha Stewart would probably have a doily under each rod, and an oriental rug on the floor...lol.

Thanks for the comments, things always look good right after you do it. I'm sure it will look like a tornado went through in a month or two.
