    Default Snakehead Lures

Seems like most report luck on chatterbaits, hollow body frogs, and plastic buzz toads. Any other lures produce?

Anything works for these bastages. As a general rule, the noisier the better.

Most heads are caught as a by product of bass fishing. So most everything including a texas rigged stink o works at times.

If you want to target heads specifically, a small bream fin clipped under a slip cork along the grass edges inside creeks at high tide works about as good as anything. That's what many of us river locals do for guests that want to catch one. Or you can throw a frog for two weeks and might get one to hook up?

The probability of an adverse event increases in direct proportion to your lack of preparation for it. Carry your weapon.

Thanks. We are working on a trip to a creek that harbors these beasts. We aren't targeting them, but it would be cool to luck into one.
