    Default Getting ready for trapline

Fur is priming up late this year with the warm fall. Plenty brisk on the Blue Ridge today. Going to get all my traps prepped today, get my maintenance done on my trapping vehicle and plan to get a line out next Monday.

Glad to see your going to get some steel out, I enjoy seeing your catches on here. My back feels a lot better today than last night so hopefully I'll be able to get after it next week. Good luck bud!

I'm not going to slay them, the fur price forecast is dismal. Just hobby level stuff for me this year. Might get 20-30 pieces then give it up. I actually, no crap retired this year, so I have plenty of time starting next week after my last job.

That's all I ever really had in mind for myself was a bit of hobby trapping. Something to do between deer season and turkey season. Let me know when you need a tag along, I'd like to go check them with you one day then learn more about putting them up. Congratulations on the retirement!!!

I have a bunch of skunks that need trapping. Do their pelts bring any coin?

They steal the cat food and have no fear of me.
