Thread: wading spots on Doah

    Cool wading spots on Doah

I'm new at this. I wanted to wade for smallies from Front Royal to maybe 20 miles south, either north or south fork. Need a place to park and then wade out where I can cast and....a good spot with smallies.
    Any suggestions appreciated.

There's a low water bridge on the way to this campground. I waded it years ago, but didn't catch much. Access from the campground or from the Bentonville boat ramp. https://www.lowwaterbridgecampgrounds.com/

Use any of the public access areas. Take a day and venture on upriver to as far as about Elkton. I've done this MANY times and you will catch 100 fish easy in a day!

I'd like to try some wading for smallies. I love bass on a flyrod.

I have to laugh at myself for not knowing to local lingo. Ive been searching to find the Doah River. Couldn't find it. I saw an article on a guides website about the Doah. Now I know where it is.
