Default 3 Bass Lure Mods to Catch More Fish

Thought I would share 3 lure mods I have been using to catch more bass.
I would love for others to share some favorite lure mods.

Nice. I've used suspend dots and red trebs on jerkbaits and crankbaits for years. I sometimes like a slow steady fall on my jerkbaits. Gives the fish a very different look. Have never tried the small spinner blade on crankbaits but know a few folks who use it w/ great effect.

I seem to recognize the surroundings you are fishing. The last part was Hunters Landing at Lake Anna in the no wake zone. Some mods I do is put the small blades in my swimjigs, they clank and flash, on my sinkos at time, wacky rig, etc. I make my own skirts, so I have jigs with from 15 strands to 80. The 80 strand skirts are better when fishing rip/rap as they don't get stuck as bad as the strands stop the jig from getting too deep in a crevis.

NICE job on the Video and the underwater footage.......
    cheers,

Guess you know my super duper extra top secret spot

How do you attach a blade to the swim jigs? That seems like a pretty good idea?

I was actually out catching some Crappie up that way for family dinner, before I filmed that video. Glad you liked it

I think there are several people here on the VAO that will or have recognized your spot it’s a blood sport on this site. I add 2 of these zappu double blades to the hook of the swim jig. Almost like a mini arig. Enjoy
