Fished the winter series yesterday. Water is a bit stained, but quite warm for this time of year. Found water temps from 50-56, which is at least 10 degrees warmer than normal for this time of year. Caught quite a few fish, just couldn't manage any size. They were hitting an A rig and jerkbait. Expected to catch some crankbait fish at that temp, but couldn't manage to get bit. Our best 5 wouldn't have made 10lb. Not sure what won, we skied before the weigh in.

Were the temperatures that high all over? down at the damn? south of the bridge? I can't wait to get out there. Won't be able to put 'toon in until after March 1. I keep it parked at the State Park.

It was 51ish down on the lower end and warmer up around Peak.
